Overview

Vial blend of BPC-157, TB-500 (Ac-LKKTETQ) and GHK-Cu, sold mostly as 70 mg (10/10/50 mg); each component has animal or cell data, and no study has tested the three together.

Sold as a 70 mg vial holding 10 mg BPC-157, 10 mg TB-500 and 50 mg GHK-Cu, so GHK-Cu makes up about 70% of each dose. TB-500 is the acetylated fragment Ac-LKKTETQ, not full thymosin beta-4 (Esposito 2012). BPC-157 and TB-500 have rodent tissue-repair data; GHK-Cu raised collagen synthesis in fibroblast culture and rat wounds. GHK-Cu human data are topical only, with a positive diabetic ulcer trial and a negative venous ulcer trial, and no injected human study exists. The one study pairing BPC-157 and TB-500 found no added benefit in rat tendon repair (Biçer 2026). No study has tested the three-peptide blend. FDA lists BPC-157, TB-500 and injectable GHK-Cu on its compounding safety-risk page in the withdrawn-nomination table.

Benefits

Tendon and ligament repair (rodent, BPC-157); angiogenesis and wound repair (rodent and cell, TB-500 fragment); collagen synthesis (cell and rat, GHK-Cu); mixed topical wound results (human, GHK-Cu, not injected). No data for the blend

Dosing reference

Research dose
500 to 750 mcg of blend daily (about 70 to 110 mcg each of BPC-157 and TB-500 and 360 to 540 mcg GHK-Cu at the 10/10/50 mg ratio): vendor/community range, no published human dose of the blend
Range
500 to 750 mcg, 1x daily
Reconstitution
2 mL bacteriostatic water
Common vial sizes
70 mg

Subcutaneous in community use. The loading-then-maintenance schedule has no published basis. The numeric range dates from when the catalog listed a 15 mg vial with 5 mg of each peptide; vendors now sell a 70 mg vial at 10/10/50 mg, which changes the per-component amounts above. GHK-Cu human data are topical: a daily gel in diabetic foot ulcers and a 0.4% cream in venous ulcers.

Mechanism

Proposed, from separate component studies; no study has measured an interaction. BPC-157 activated VEGFR2-Akt-eNOS signalling in rat ischemic limbs. TB-500 carries the actin-binding motif of thymosin beta-4, which drove endothelial migration and sprouting (Philp 2003). GHK-Cu raised collagen synthesis in fibroblasts from 10^-12 M, peaking at 10^-9 M (Maquart 1988). The skin 'glow' attributed to the injected blend has not been tested; GHK-Cu skin data come from cell, rodent and topical human work.

Evidence

Preclinical: animal or in vitro data only

  • Rat Achilles tendon repair (n=32): BPC-157 and TB-500 each improved histology, and the pair gave no added benefit over either alone; GHK-Cu was not tested (Biçer et al., 2026)
  • BPC-157 at 10 mcg or 10 ng/kg intraperitoneally restored transected rat Achilles tendon integrity and load to failure by day 14 (Staresinic et al., 2003)
  • GHK-Cu raised collagen synthesis in fibroblast culture from 10^-12 M, peaking at 10^-9 M (Maquart et al., 1988)
  • Topical GHK-Cu gel improved diabetic foot ulcer closure versus vehicle, median 98.5% vs 60.8% (Mulder et al., 1994), but a 0.4% cream was no better than placebo in venous ulcers, n=86 (Bishop et al., 1992)
  • Human-trial status: no study has tested the blend as sold. GHK-Cu human trials were topical; no injected human study of any of the three components has been published, and BPC-157 has only uncontrolled pilot reports

Side effects

No human safety study of the blend has been published, and none of the three components has controlled injected human safety data. Commonly reported by users (anecdotal): injection-site stinging, redness and lumps, attributed to GHK-Cu, plus transient fatigue. At 50 of 70 mg, GHK-Cu (about 16% copper by mass) dominates each dose; copper load is a theoretical concern in disorders of copper excretion such as Wilson's disease. Listed on FDA's 503A category 2 (safety concerns) page, withdrawn-nomination table, as of 2026-04-22, for BPC-157, TB-500 and injectable GHK-Cu: https://www.fda.gov/drugs/human-drug-compounding/certain-bulk-drug-substances-use-compounding-may-present-significant-safety-risks.
